There is something rather perfect now, even about the situation that has seemingly gone wrong. Let’s appreciate this in a following way: People of the highest caliber, upon hearing about My Religion (i.e. my writings), follow it and practice immediately. People of average caliber, hearing about My Religion, reflect for a while and then experiment. People of lowest caliber, hearing about My Religion, let out a big laugh. Now, substitute the words My Religion by the Energy Policy and you have lot to do all this week long. No body obliges you to follow my working managerial abilities. See this like I am the Chairman of Department called “No idea can be considered valuable until a thousands people have laughed at it”, with core item in it called “My splashy new ideas”. It’s similar to Neverland, like that Regional Cabinets of Brussels and Strasburg organization. We don’t play the blame game. We never mind who has done what, or not done it, or done something else instead. We never mind ‘why’ either. Even when theirs regular’s boo-boos happen… It is not exactly our fault but we feel a sense of responsibility for the contributory part that we have played. WE can just prove a point to someone (i.e. Barroso’ almohads) who has been questioned our motives. Just provide evidence with our clear insight into how things work, because this is our one between many company assets for consumption.

Competing goals July 1 2009 19:23. The UK government wants stability in its financial system. But Neelie Kroes, the Dutch EU competition commissioner, wants creative destruction among banks. Indeed, she has warned that she may try to break up Lloyds and RBS – two large lenders that are currently benefiting from state aid. The Treasury should heed her warning. In some regards, banks are not like other companies. When one collapses, they can pull down other institutions in the financial network. And when there is widespread financial panic, the real economy suffers as basic credit services break down. Yet, in other ways, finance is no different from other sectors. Banks need competition to remain lean and efficient. States have rightly sought to provide stability in the crisis by propping up existing financial companies, but subsidy is as distorting in banking as it is in other industries. The commissioner’s concerns about British banks are clearly right. The UK has deployed state aid to allow its banks to support large balance sheets. And, in addition, it now only has five large banks that serve consumers. Lloyds enjoys the custom of almost one in three UK current account customers. Britain’s financial sector, never very competitive, has become less so. Ms Kroes will also be aware of the political difficulties inherent in allowing the UK to flout EU competition policy. If British banks – epitomes of Anglo-Saxon capitalism – are allowed to maintain their capacity with government handouts, it will be difficult to insist that French carmakers be denied the same privilege. There is time to spare in making decisions on competition. Constraints on credit remain, so the government cannot withdraw its support. And, in the short term, while there is still no prospect of allowing a large bank to fail, there can be no real competition. But the British authorities should respond to Ms Kroes’ threats. They must develop a plan for withdrawing from the banks. The current interventions, though necessary, must be demonstrated to be temporary. The UK needs to set out a plan for selling off publicly owned shares, rolling back guarantees and reintroducing a competition regime under which banks get cut back if they are overdominant, and can be allowed to fail. During the panic, stability was the key aim of policy. For a time, banks had to be cosseted. But, as calm returns, so too must competition.

Le plan Épervier a été déclenché, sans succès, pour retrouver le fuyard qui s’est évaporé dans la nature. L’enquête a été confiée à la police judiciaire de Toulon. La victime, Vladimir Zakhartchenko, âgée de 48 ans, aurait déjà fait l’objet d’une tentative d’homicide en Allemagne. Devant son fils et sa compagne La fusillade a éclaté vers 16h30, alors que la famille rentrait de la plage. Remontant une petite allée, le couple et son enfant âgé de 12 ans se dirigent vers un 4x4 gris BWW immatriculé en Allemagne, garé le long de l’avenue Vincent-Auriol, qui rejoint le port de la Favière, quand plusieurs balles claquent, tirées par un motard casqué. Le vacancier s’écroule dans une mare de sang, la femme et l’enfant hurlent… La scène, rapide et d’une violence inouïe, se déroule sous les yeux de nombreux témoins abasourdis, pour la plupart des retraités en villégiature dans les résidences « La Frégate » et « La Galiote », qui bordent les plages. C’était un homme à moto qui était là depuis un bon moment, en faction, en plein soleil dans le passage », commente une vacancière. « On aurait dit le bruit d’une arme de poing, genre 357 Magnum. La moto est repartie en direction de La Favière », précise un autre retraité. Chasse à l’homme Rapidement, les gendarmes, sous le commandement du chef d’escadron Olivier Coulbeau, ont mis en place des barrages filtrants sur tous les axes routiers, sur plusieurs kilomètres, en direction de Bormes, La Londe, Saint-Tropez, La Môle, Pierrefeu… Les hélicoptères Dragon 83 et la section aérienne de la compagnie de gendarmerie d’Hyères ont vainement survolé le littoral. Поиски злоумышленника результатов не дали. Захарченко получил пять ранений в грудь и голову, в среду он скончался в госпитале Тулона. Это не первое покушение на предпринимателя: ранее в него стреляли в Самаре, после чего он перебрался за границу, а затем и в Германии. По информации самарских СМИ, Захарченко являлся главой группы компаний «Захар», известен многочисленными конфликтами с региональной элитой и криминалитетом. Пытался участвовать в политике, баллотировался на пост мэра Самары. В июле 2003 года в Самаре на него произошло покушение: был обстрелян автомобиль предпринимателя, сам он получил ранение. После этого он перебрался за границу. Напомним, в апреле в Объединенных Арабских Эмиратах погиб насильственной смертью еще один предприниматель из России. Тело 51-летнего Евгения Хапрова было обнаружено в городе Шарджа на водительском сиденье его автомобиля. У погибшего была пробита голова и заклеен рот. Вдова погибшего заявила о пропаже мужа, когда он не вернулся домой. Также была обнаружена пропажа трех автомобилей Хапрова, в одном из которых на водительском сиденье и было обнаружено тело жертвы. Хапров был одним из учредителей занимавшейся грузовыми авиационными перевозками компании Ave.com, которая ранее носила название Phoenix Aviation и была зарегистрирована в свободной зоне эмирата Шарджа.
