Time is important.

Speak loud on the streets – mean I’m mad. At least this is strong opinion of who need to that “I speak loud”.  Like for example, the Prince William. The problems only lie in a small fact that if I shut up – nothing happen. The seeing just a car, (the brand new silver Range Rover), plus crossed thoughts from interested parties, plus time-space orientation, and all this constant harassment produce expected result of “what you do to find the job”. Any further detail in this respect delegate to the Mr. Trevor Edwards, Senior Consultant, PCS Personal Career Solution, Mutual House, 5th Floor, 70 Conduit Street, London, W1S 2GF, Tel.: 0207 837 5881, Mobile: 0778 031 934 trevor.edwards@pcsexecutive.com ):

THIEVES broke into Zara Phillips’ car and stole her handbag — containing valuable jewellery. The Queen’s grand-daughter was “close to tears” after finding her riding gear strewn over the road beside her damaged Range Rover. The jewellery plus cash were missing when the bag was recovered from a hedge — but her passport was still inside. A source said: “Zara was shaken by the incident and was frantically searching for her handbag.

“Police told her later that it was an opportunistic crime — but there is always a moment of fear that she has targeted.” The theft — in Kensington, West London, on Thursday while equestrian world champion Zara, 27, shopped nearby — comes just one month after Princess Beatrice’s BMW was nicked. Bea, 20, had left the keys in the ignition in South Kensington — though the car was recovered. Pippa Middleton, 23, sister of Prince William’s girlfriend Kate, had valuables and photos taken from her car in September. The Met last night confirmed Zara’s theft and revealed a member of the public handed in the bag. He added: “There are no security implications.”

Halva Oil (continuation)

Before Queen Elizabeth the II was visiting “vegetables” I find in the City Rafsanjani with one pack of Marlboro Light putting his face close to me to see if I buy it, than, and couple yards further, him again, but now with two bodyguards from Ghurkha race (i.e. Royalties and Concessions). More later this evening start big commotion about how much is my cost (theme was £6,5 million…), who was this people (see photo of Portuguese Equity Forum, visiting the NASQAD day before the market making “ploff”, Millennium Investment Bank, ZonMultimedia between others), remembering that halva oil  you talk about have nothing if not a Centrica Financial Report to do with me. Maybe that lesbian from Iberian Countries making the body guard of this bunch of inlimited pederasts the type of Bragança… and than this incredible big news:

Man blinded in acid attack

Saturday, February 28 05:19 am A man has been blinded after a stranger threw acid in his face following an argument in the street, police have said.  The 58-year-old hospital cleaner was walking to work when he got into a row with another man in Belgravia, central London, early on Wednesday. The man then produced a container and threw a liquid into the victim's face, leaving him blinded and in pain, police said. The attack happened at 3.45am at the junction of Cambridge Street and Clarendon Street in one of the ritziest parts of London. Police were called by a resident who heard the victim shouting for help and saw him staggering along Cambridge Street, bumping into parked cars.

Eurasia/Nato/EU/”medvedev” from sibir/sranye churki:

One of the people around ME today is going to use unabashed flattery to try to get what they want (i.e. OIL). And while this tactic might work on some people, it will not work WITH ME – MY MIND is way too sharp and MY memory is way too good to let MYSELF be fooled by smiling faces that might be telling lies. I’LL accept compliments with a smile, and keep going with “MINE” life.

Dragon Oil launches probe into procurement

Thu Feb 26, 2009 11:26am GMT * Says "possible irregularities" in procurement procedures

* Involves former top managers in Marketing, Contracts depts

* Sees no material impact on its financial position

* Delays publication of annual results, due March 4

LONDON, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Oil exploration group Dragon Oil PLC (DGO.I:QuoteProfileResearch) said on Thursday it had started an investigation into "possible irregularities" in its procurement procedures. The irregularities involve possible improper conduct between certain former senior managers in the company's marketing and contracts departments, the company said in a statement. "An initial review suggests that the matter will not have a material impact on the financial position of the company," said Chief Executive Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa. It expects to provide an update on the investigation's progress before the end of March. The company said it is undertaking a thorough review of all procurement procedures. Dragon said it had decided to postpone its annual results, due on March 4, until it has considered the initial results of the investigation.

Sibir suspends chief executive over property dealings

February 25 2009 09:16 Sibir Energy on Wednesday suspended its chief executive and launched an investigation into property dealings that the London-listed Russian energy group agreed with one of its largest shareholders. Henry Cameron, chief executive of the group, whose main asset is a half share in the successful Salym oil fields in western Siberia, was replaced by his deputy Stuard Detmer with “immediate effect”, Sibir said. It has asked Jones Day, its solicitors, and Ernst & Young, the accountants, to carry out the investigation into the deals, which have astonished independent investors since they were first announced last October. Trading in Sibir’s Aim-listed shares was suspended last week after Strand Partners, the group’s nominated adviser, discovered that Chalva Tchigirinski, a Russian tycoon who with his business partner Igor Kasaev holds 46.7 per cent of Sibir’s shares, owed the company $325m and not the $115m it had previously announced. Sibir had agreed to buy properties from Mr Tchigirinski to provide him with funds to meet margin calls on his shareholdings. Mr Cameron has agreed to assist Sibir “on an ongoing basis to recover all monies owed by any Tchigirinski interest to Sibir,” the group said. The original deal struck in October was followed in December by an agreement to buy $340m of properties from Mr Tchigirinski, a former billionaire whose fortune was hit by the turmoil in Russian stock markets as oil prices tumbled. At that time, Mr Cameron said “difficult times call for uncomfortable decisions” and argued that it would be better for Sibir to buy the properties than to see Mr Tchigirinski sell his shares. However, minority shareholders reacted against the plan, which was dropped last month. But the group had already advanced money to Mr Tchigirinski in anticipation of the property purchase being approved. In a circular earlier this month, the group said it had advanced $115.4m, but last week this was found to be incorrect leading to the shares’ suspension at 174¾p. The investigation is expected to take up to two months and the shares remain suspended. Sibir’s shares reached a peak of 830p last summer, giving it a market value of £2.5bn, and it was contemplating a move to the main market, while there was speculation that Royal Dutch Shell, its partner in the Salym fields, would bid for the group.

Le Parisien.

Retired Federal Security Service General had been shot dead, experts concluded
AIA reported yesterday on the death of the retired Russian Federal Security Service General Alexander Rogachev, 46. His body was found in a vehicle at building 31, Leningradsky Avenue in St.Petersburg. The security guards of restaurant Le Parisien paid attention to the suspicious Land Cruiser car which was parked near the restaurant with working engine for longer time and called the police.
According to news agency Interfax, at initial examination of the body experts came to conclusion that Rogatchev had died from natural causes. However, already in a mortuary a 9 millimeters bullet has been taken from the victim’s head. Rogachev was a former employee of the Federal Agency of Governmental Communications.
According to some sources, since recently the retired FSB Major-General was engaged in business activity. Online paper Life.ru reported that leaving his house Alexander Rogatchev had collected some documents and told his wife that he was going to have an important appointment.
General Rogachev was the son-in-law of the governor of Russia’s Orel area Yegor Stroyev who used to be the speaker of the Federation Council of Russia(1996-2001). He had a major post in the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
Six years ago, Alexander Rogatchyov divorced from the daughter of the known politician, Marina, 44, herself until recently a former Russian parliament member. After divorce he married Anastassiya, 35, who last time saw her husband in the early morning on the day he died, Life.Ru notes.

Euribor.

2). Populaire, Caisse d’Epargne Said to Name Perol Chief (Update4)

Feb. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Groupe Banque Populaire and Groupe Caisse d’Epargne, the two French customer-owned lenders in talks to merge, agreed to appoint President Nicolas Sarkozy’s top economics adviser to head the combined bank in return for more aid, three people familiar with the matter said. Francois Perol’s nomination may be announced this week, along with a government cash injection of as much as 4.5 billion euros ($5.8 billion), said the people, who declined to be identified because the talks are confidential. Perol, 45, couldn’t be reached for comment. The banks, which had already sold 2 billion euros of subordinated debt to the French state and were eligible for an additional 2.5 billion euros under aid measures announced in December, are letting the government pick Perol as chief and acquire a stake of up as much as 20 percent because they need extra cash to bolster their balance sheet, the people said. Natixis SA, their investment-banking joint venture, lost 1.18 billion euros in the first nine months of 2008. “When the state is putting up public money, it can expect to appoint people” to oversee the bank, Finance Minister Christine Lagarde told Europe 1 radio today. She declined to confirm Perol’s appointment, though added he would be “a choice of competence and trust.” The banks may get as much as 5 billion euros in “super- subordinated debt that will be convertible into stock,” Lagarde added. Natixis Climbs “It’s a breakthrough in Sarkozy’s way of dealing with the crisis,” said Anis Bouayad, founder of Paris-based corporate strategy adviser AB Conseils. “For the first time, the government plans to take a stake in a bank, and to name someone close to the president to lead it.” Natixis 5.9 percent to 1.07 euros in Paris, paring the stock’s decline this year to 14 percent and valuing the investment bank at 3.11 billion euros.

Sarkozy’s press secretary, Franck Louvrier, declined to comment on the merger talks, as did Caisse d’Epargne spokeswoman Christine Francoise. Frederic Paillet, a spokesman for Banque Populaire, didn’t return calls. Both Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne are due to publish full-year results on Feb. 26. Banque Populaire’s real-estate manager, Foncia, may be left out of the tie-up, two of the people said, as could the Caisse d’Epargne property development and financing units Nexity and Credit Foncier. That would funnel most of the government money to Natixis. Caisse d’Epargne’s stake in CNP Assurances SA, France’s biggest life insurer, would be included in the combined bank, the people said. Preference Shares The government will own preference shares in the combined bank, and is seeking seats on the bank’s board in return for the aid, the people said. The state would also convert the first 2 billion euros of subordinated debt it provided into shares, bringing its overall stake to about 20 percent, one of the people said. Banque Populaire’s CEO Philippe Dupont is likely to be appointed chairman of the combined bank, the person added. Perol worked for Sarkozy when the latter served as finance minister between 2004 and 2005. He then joined Rothschild & Cie, before he was named Sarkozy’s top economics aide in 2007. Senior lawmakers from the Socialist and Democratic Movement opposition parties said Perol’s nomination would breach conflict- of-interest rules barring public officials from joining companies they deal with in government within three years. Jean Arthuis, the centrist Senate Finance Committee chairman, told Europe 1 that the appointment would be “shocking” if confirmed. Responding to the criticism, Lagarde said any government appointment to the merged bank would be vetted by the civil- service ethics committee in accordance with established rules. The tie-up plan, announced by Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne in October, would create a lender with a network of 8,200 branches in France, second only toCredit Agricole SA, and 480 billion euros in savings and deposits. 3). Central Europe acts to bolster currencies Published: February 23 2009 19:18 | Last updated: February 24 2009 07:21 Central Europe’s battered currencies rallied on Monday after four of the region’s central banks issued co-ordinated statements calling recent currency weakness unjustified and raising the possibility of intervention on foreign exchange markets. It was the first time that banks from the region’s four ex-communist countries with floating currencies had co-ordinated policies, a testament to the seriousness with which falls in Poland’s zloty, Hungary’s forint, Czech Republic’s koruna and the Romania’s leu are being treated. Depreciating currencies are raising fears about the stability of local banks, something that could send shockwaves through countries such as Austria, and Italy, where many parent banks are based. “In the assessment of the National Bank of Poland, the macroeconomic situation in Poland does not justify the scale of the weakening of the zloty. The NBP may undertake actions aimed at avoiding the unfavourable consequences of currency volatility on the economy,” said Slawomir Skrzypek, Poland’s central bank governor. Mugur Isarescu, governor of the central bank of Romania, said his institution would be prepared to use a range of instruments to support the leu, including interest rate policy, moral suasion and minimum reserve requirements. He said: “There are regional risks, but reports are presenting this area as Europe’s subprime, even though we can prove this is not the case.” The zloty’s uptick in the last few days is also a result of the government’s campaign to see Poland admitted into the European Exchange Rate Mechanism by May or June, a necessary precondition for joining the euro. The government is still holding out for Poland to adopt the common currency by 2012, in spite of a lack of enthusiasm from the opposition and Lech Kaczynski, Poland’s president. The other three central European countries are less advanced in their quest to join the euro. Sagging local currencies have made central banks increasingly reluctant to continue with interest rate cuts aimed at reviving sharply decelerating economies. By midday in New York on Monday, the Polish zloty rose 2.2 per cent to 4.6390 zlotys against the euro, the Hungarian forint climbed 2.8 per cent to Ft295.28 and the Czech koruna gained 2.1 per cent to Kc28.2048. The leu was little changed.

4). Genentech cool on Roche bid offer Shareholders in US firm Genentech are being urged to reject an offer from Swiss firm Roche to buy the shares in the firm it does not already own. Roche has offered $86.50 per share, in a $42bn (£28.8bn) move, but Genentech says this undervalues the firm. Roche, which has been the majority owner of Genentech since 1990 and owns 55.9% of shares, first offered $89 per share for the outstanding stock. Genentech said the new offer was not in the best interest of its shareholders. "Genentech's strong projected financial performance implies a valuation substantially in excess of Roche's offer price," Charles Sanders, chairman of the Genentech board's special committee, said in a statement. "We believe Genentech's exceptional management and team, including its world-renowned scientists, can create far more value for stockholders than Roche has offered," he added.

5). U.S. Bubble Collapse to Be Worse Than Japan’s, CLSA’s Wood Says

Feb. 23 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. is facing a deflationary collapse more severe than the crash that hobbled Japan’s economy in the 1990s, leaving gold as the only defensive play for investors, according to CLSA Ltd.’s Christopher Wood. The housing recession in the U.S. led to a crisis in the banking system as lenders became saddled with illiquid mortgage assets, souring the securitization industry that helped drive credit growth in recent years. The nation’s retail sales fell 10.5 percent in December as consumers became more pessimistic and scaled back purchases. “The collapse of securitization is a much more deflationary situation in the U.S. than anything seen in Japan when the bubble collapsed in the early 1990s,” Wood, Institutional Investor’s top-ranked Asia strategist, said at a conference in Tokyo sponsored by CLSA. “What we need in the future is a more fundamentally disciplined system, even at the cost of higher levels of growth.” Gold may be the safest haven for investors as policy makers accelerate responses to the crisis, devaluing currencies versus hard assets such as gold in the process, said Wood. Gold is likely to more than quadruple from the current level of $986 per ounce currently to $3,500 in 2010, he said. Wood, who in 2003 predicted the U.S. housing crisis, joined New York University economist Nouriel Roubini in cautioning against investment in Europe due to the rising risk among economies in the eastern and central parts of the continent that carry current account deficits. Moody’s Investors Service Inc. on Feb. 17 said some of Europe’s largest banks may be downgraded because of loans to eastern Europe, sending shares of lenders tumbling.

“In my view, we will have a full-scale currency collapse in central and eastern Europe,” the strategist said. “This will lead to a growing focus on the huge exposure of the European banks to these distressed economies.” China and India remain the best bets for equity investors over the long term, Wood said.

Medtronic to Buy 2 Heart-Valve Parts Makers FEBRUARY 23, 2009, 10:02 AM

Medtronic said on Monday that it is buying two privately held makers of heart-valve technologies, paying about $1.03 billion in cash for both. Both CoreValve, based in Minneapolis, and Ventor Technologies, based in Netanya, Israel, make products that allow heart valves to be replaced using a catheter, instead of through surgery. Neither CoreValve’s nor Ventor’s products are available yet in the United States. Medtronic will pay an initial $700 million for CoreValve, with additional payments depending on whether company hits certain undisclosed milestones. It will pay $325 million for Ventor.

MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) — An attack on an African Union peacekeeping base in the Somali capital Sunday killed 11 people, the AU said, but it denied insurgent claims of a suicide attack. El Ghassim Wane, a spokesman for the AU in Addis Ababa, said the insurgents had fired mortars onto the base in Mogadishu. He gave no further details. But Sheik Muktar Robow, a spokesman for the al-Shabab insurgent group, insisted that "Our fighters have carried out two suicide attacks on the infidels in Mogadishu, inflicting heavy losses." The AU peacekeeping force in Mogadishu has had a restricted mandate to guard key government installations in the two years it has been here. It has not been involved in fighting Islamic militants in the capital, battles that have killed thousands of civilians over the past two years. But hardline groups still view the peacekeepers as an occupying force. Al-Shabab, an extremist Islamic group, has threatened to focus its attacks on AU troops now that Ethiopian troops have left Mogadishu after a two-year deployment.

Egyptian police hold 11 after fatal bombing Monday, February 23 12:25 pm  Egyptian police have detained 11 people for questioning about the bomb which killed a French teenager and wounded at least 21 people near a popular tourist bazaar in Cairo on Sunday, police sources said on Monday. After security incidents, Egyptian police usually cast their net very wide and then release most of the people they question. The bomb, planted under a bench near the Khan el-Khalili market in mediaeval Cairo, was the first such attack on tourists in the city since April 2005 and the first in Egypt since an April 2006 bombing in the Sinai resort of Dahab. The wounded included 13 French tourists, three Saudis, one German and four Egyptians. No one has claimed responsibility and analysts said the bomb was probably the work of a small group of disgruntled Egyptians, similar to the one that carried out two operations in 2005. The incident could damage the Egyptian tourist industry, which accounts for about 7 percent of gross domestic product, although previous bombings had only a short-term impact. Police stepped up security at tourist locations and around embassies. At the checkpoints leading towards the U.S. embassy they stopped pedestrians and asked what they were doing.

Switzerland Watches

22/02/2009 13:04:26. Important begin with Anglo-Saxon rugby play. Stink North American, but surely local, from City “football team”. Scene: Father with his son, nearby of my VIKTORG7 blog (clearly speak about Au $1000/ounce) lost 20 pence from Zulu-Zebra cross-exchange. Father come back, took this nickel and say to the son: “Take it”. For last couple of years, nation (you know how I call them) do this to me in exaggerated basis. Using the for ages knowledge of fathers from Edwardian yet period - that I can do nothing. Just to delegate the subject to my agent, i.e. that living in Ilford (shittier hole possible) Prince Fillip. (i.e. Mr. Trevor Edwards, Senior Consultant, PCS Personal Career Solution, Mutual House, 5th Floor, 70 Conduit Street, London, W1S 2GF, Tel.: 0207 837 5881, Mobile: 0778 031 934 trevor.edwards@pcsexecutive.com ). Now, what was the dream? One, where I am in very small, in old building, empty kitchen. Have a cooker and small table, nothing else except of many, full of food pans. Later at the day, thinking about this, feel distress of how the Co treat me. How they are doggy animals, ongoing piggy faces, dirty fucking politicians from cocaine Royal Family of Lancasters PRICKS. Second dream was about who exactly these pricks are. Not hitting on my head, but taking away my face with tears, and off course taking away my sleep. Wake up I still hear them yelling that I’m stealing theirs visit cards. Putting like justification the scene from the book of American Psycho and that visit cards from a jar in Starbuck Café competition. Euro leaders in Berlin call this “Passa horas no café”, “a preto”, “a gasssh”, “a vasilham” etc.(pass long hours in café, a nigger, BG) The third dream was from the same opera. About the Nord, the white, and the right. The tall, of white race pederast, in hood, very dirty attack me. Now, telling me that my brother work Jew. (i. e. Only seems certain the one reason why he do this. That photograph of, maybe daughter, maybe grand daughter of Trevor with cigar in her mouth planted in his office. Similar to these policy makers and CV breakers pharaohs, who use for decades with me “a fuder” (i.e. shagging) know-how, namely in almohads language. The half-pigs, call this, obviously for another reason, the “ебать не будеш” (i.e. you never fuck again). Using for one exacting episode, can only say, that this dream was directly connected with an outstanding debts which by the natural ways are transformed in huge supporting act to the Phoenix of USSR, (somebody schizophrenia, which only make money to body-guards for this Euro-meeting), in one side, and almost a hundredth dead of “dear Valia” (7 100 kcal/kg) – in another side. Talking here about European Energy Policy and today’s blast in Chinese mine. This will be a good theme to speak about during the meeting between Cuban, the almohad Carlos and “medvedev”. Those old things of “É в раз”, where the real Evras is a huge player in the IMF footballers team. Who will understand what I mean. However, to day it does will be only my private talk with bastard Barroso, Trichet and Co. To be supportive to my writings – go to speak about set of casks… It’s very “Passa Port” expression. Mean, pirates of “Imperio de mão” (i.e. Empire of hand). Has various connotation, but essentially mean cup-de-Etate, revolution, strikes, and all possible disturbances. And how this “brotherhood of City”, for example, like that delegation of PSI in Nasdaq, made theirs trade. Well, in this crate I suspect is “as good as it gets”. Remembering that the Regua Region make them catch that very important right time, like that Chinese garland, like that surfing – to start with ridge of wave for huge present financial mess. (article1) Remembering too, the MY China which they STEAL and not only don’t think to resolve this “a fuder”, “a preto”, and “a vasilham” – but insist that the tooth of Solana, Sampaio or Barroso and Co made not from MY ceramics but from theirs, Iranian style taboo. Keep forgetting entirely, that Waterford Wedgwood is no more than my, famous by now description of who I am and which’s my tree. It’s important to explain this undescridible arrogance. First, you must see the genealogical tree of evolution of this Waterford Wedgwood. Second, when was it (i.e. Trevor). And third is like ongoing and insignificant (you know what I mean) mean the Empire of Hand. Which is, look at the Kaufhaus des Westens, sadly, nobody has. But can be seeing with a naked eye in Mayfair Switzerland Watches…

1. 21/02/2009 12:48:25 Administrators close to serving up Waterford Wedgwood to US fund

The sale of Waterford Wedgwood, the crystal and ceramics maker, to an American private equity fund for an undisclosed sum is expected to be announced this morning, The Times has learnt. Deloitte, the administrators, were in discussions with KPS Capital Partners last night, with negotiations expected to conclude at midnight. KPS has just bought Waterford’s American rival Lennox and is expected to merge the two companies. A spokesman for Deloitte declined to comment. It is understood that KPS plans to keep production of high-quality goods, such as hand-painted figurines, in the UK, which could preserve hundreds of British jobs. However, low-end production is likely to move to Asia, causing some redundancies. Waterford Wedgwood, which owns Waterford Crystal, Wedgwood, the British potter, the Royal Doulton fine china business and Rosenthal, the German porcelain maker, has 8,000 employees worldwide, including 1,900 in the UK. Most of its British workers are based at its manufacturing operation at Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent, and at retail stores. Nearly 370 workers in two UK subsidiaries have already lost their jobs. The sale has been the subject of industrial unrest in the Irish Republic, where workers at the Waterford Crystal factory in Kilbarry, Co Waterford, staged a sit-in after Deloitte said that the plant would close until a buyer could be found, with the loss of 480 jobs. Sir Anthony O’Reilly, the Irish media tycoon who is chief executive of Independent News & Media, and Peter Goulandris, his brother-in-law, are set to lose about €400 million (£360 million) as a result of the deal. The company was financed through a combination of bank debt, with Bank of America as the main lending bank, and a public bond. It is believed that bondholders will not recover all their money. Apart from his equity investment, Sir Anthony had also advanced Waterford Wedgwood several million more euros and could also lose that money. A source close to the deal said that KPS and Deloitte were close to signing an American-style “binding agreement to sell” last night. Such an agreement means that the sale is all but complete, subject to a month’s due diligence, before final completion. Waterford’s £6 million Minton collection of pottery is now likely to be sold or dispersed. There has been some pressure from members of the House of Lords for it to be bought for the nation. Since the 250-year old ceramics maker collapsed into administration after missing a repayment deadline for its €449 million of debt on January 2, the sale process has been filled with drama. KPS, which had been trying to buy the business before it went into administration, signed a “letter of intent” to buy it with Deloitte in January. Irish trade unions objected to the original bid, saying that KPS was interested only in acquiring the brand name rather than in keeping jobs. Clarion Capital, another American private equity firm, which was advised by John Foley, the former Waterford Crystal chief executive, entered the fray in late January. Earlier this month, a consortium led by Thomas R. Wedgwood, a direct descendant of the pottery’s founder, Josiah Wedgwood, lodged a formal expression of interest in buying back the company. However, the KPS bid was first past the post. Wedgwood, which was founded in the 18th century, is a byword for world standards in tableware design and manufacturing. However, the company has had to endure tough times since it was bought by the Irish company Waterford Glass Group in 1986. Its potential customers have moved away from using formal dinner services, and cheaper alternatives have become available from Eastern Europe and Asia. Its sales to America have also been hit in recent years by the growing strength of the euro. Six years of losses eventually forced the company to transfer the largest part of its ceramics production to the industrial outskirts of Jakarta, Indonesia.

2. Daylight robbery: Schoolboy gang in rush-hour raid on West End watch store

Last updated at 11:13 PM on 20th February 2009 Young and brazen, they gather on one of London's smartest shopping streets to carry out an audacious daylight robbery. One baby-faced raider, sledgehammer in hand, stares menacingly at the camera, apparently young enough to be a schoolboy. Others keep watch from behind balaclavas, hooded tops and motorcycle helmets as another gang member attempts to break into the Watches of Switzerland store on Old Bond Street, Mayfair, after smashing the glass door. Their target was thousands of pounds worth of designer Swiss timepieces. Onlookers watched in fascinated horror as the raid took place during rush-hour on Friday morning when the area was teeming with shoppers and workers heading to their offices. The attempted raid demonstrates how violent robberies are increasingly being carried out by children, rather than hardened criminal gangs. Had it not been half-term, the gang might well have been spending their Friday morning in the classroom. One eyewitness said: 'I heard a series of incredibly loud bangs and turned round to see these guys sledge hammering a door. 'I saw people running away in different directions and screaming. 'It was broad daylight and the streets were full of people, but they did not care. They had no regard for circumstance or law, they had no fear. 'The audacity of it was astonishing. They kept banging at the door. 'You could tell by the way they were holding their bodies that they were just children. 'The one with the yellow sledgehammer kept hesitating. Even though he was bold as brass, he was just a young kid and there was a hint of lack of confidence in what he was doing.' The raiders, who struck at 9.26am, managed to smash the glass door but were foiled by metal security shutters inside it. Had they consulted the store's opening hours they might have realised the shutters would be down until opening time at 10am. The thwarted gang  -  three of whom were riding getaway motorbikes  -  tried to vent their frustration on the photographer who took these pictures. The photographer said: 'I was standing 60ft away and there was a horrible moment when they turned round and were all staring at me. 'Then they turned the bikes towards me and came for me, and I turned and ran. 'I went into a building with a woman who was screaming and we shut the door behind us. Luckily it was strong enough to withstand their attempts to get in. 'I could hear a lot of banging outside and I was shaking,' said the photographer. 'Then they just went away.' 'The whole time I was there not a single policeman was in sight, nor a siren to be heard,' the photographer added. 'This country is obsessed with having community support officers with few powers, but why haven't we got more proper police officers around when something like this happens?' One of the gang's scooters bore a Spanish number plate, but police were unable to say whether it had been stolen. The Metropolitan Police appealed for witnesses. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: 'It was an attempted smash and grab. 'They approached on bikes and smashed a glass door. No arrests have been made at the moment.' A police source said there was a trend for gangs to target designer boutiques selling small high-value items, because electronic goods such as computers and mobile phones were much harder to sell on.

2). TORONTO, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Barrick Gold Corp (ABX.TO) reported a fourth-quarter loss on Friday as it took a non-cash charge of $773 million, mostly related to goodwill writedowns at four assets.

The world's top gold miner lost $468 million, or 53 cents a share, compared with a profit of $537 million, or 61 cents a share, a year earlier. It also said it expects to produce between 7.2 and 7.6 million ounces this year, down from 2008 output due to lower production from some of the company's North American mines.

1,008.8 tonnes

Fund amasses bullion holding February 18 2009 15:00 Gold holdings at the world’s largest bullion-backed exchange-traded fund jumped above 1,000 tonnes for the first time, the latest indication of investor demand for bullion amid increasing financial turbulence and economic slump. The industry-backed World Gold Council said that gold consumption last year rose 4 per cent to 3,658.6 tonnes as a 64 per cent surge in investment demand was counterbalanced by a 11 per cent drop in jewellery demand and a 7 per cent fall in industrial consumption. The SPDR Gold Trust holdings have risen 228.6 tonnes so far this year, to a record 1,008.8 tonnes late on Tuesday, absorbing in the first seven weeks of the year about 10 per cent of the world’s annual mine gold output. The fund is now the world’s seventh largest bullion holder, behind a handful of central banks. The latest bout of buying pushed spot gold in London on Wednesday to a fresh seven-month high of $973.5 a troy ounce.

THIS IS ENOUGH!

During the coffee break, very load noise come from the “up stairs”. Like always the “a preto” was doing policy makers and CV –breakers job. Now, with a little difference. Future of UK Governmental Bonds in way of bringing a”Canadian” children inside the of “what you do to find the job”. Nothing new about “nation of the…” and English speaking World. Further a hundred feet – Willy Lancaster with his brother (face of future King of UK in “a preto” variant) , the bolina serrada and DOGS BARK uniform… Hell, such nonsense coincidence! Than, was everything Okay in my reinvigorated walk. Except the St. Katherine Dock. Where the old whore (you know to whom I call this), from that Brazilian telenovel speaking in English, very worryingly, like a rat pass nearby me.

Now, I tell you very seriously what: THIS IS ENOUGH!

For February 17: There is so much action around me right now and it all seems to revolve around sex, money and power. I see me in neck-and-neck competition with someone who wants what I have or assumes that he or she deserves what you've worked so hard for. I should stand tall and strong and don't be intimidated or dissuaded by greedy bastards that would kick you to the curb for five dollars. Today demands that I protect MINE interests (they are MINE, fyi) and push back at lazy-assed interlopers who are trying to ride on your coattails. I must cut 'em loose as fast as I can. I don't want stinky rotting albatrosses dangling around mine neck - not even for five more minutes.

Le Triomphant

Le Triomphant It's only when I look back at a situation that plainly understand its purpose. (HMS Vanguard and Le Triomphant), while part of me feels resentment, I also see that I have been only prolonging the agony this way.(UK business loan scheme ‘not working’, plus BMW to cut 850 Mini jobs)  Focusing on the positive aspects and this can give me the strength to keep moving forward. I don’t have to compromise MY principles. And anyway, I’ve not given in before, so I shouldn’t let pressures force me to now. While it’s great to get priorities right, it’s also important to put certain people in their place. (HBOS/Barclays). Monday, 16 February 2009. 11:41:51. How much cost my writing? “Favour”, “five quit”, or a lá Roosevelt five billion dollars hand-shake? The drastically increasing quantity of head beating is alarming. Before yesterday they where, although with blood in my mouth, almost private. Names, faces, difference in stolen level, all this makes me suspect who, and strafe in the way I could. Until yesterday. Poppies voices, which eventually will be that futures of the Governmental Bonds en fim open theirs eyes. And found unlimited source for theirs, “nation of the …. Redemption. Through the night putting theirs shit and than hit, designing theirs designs and than hit again. All night long. Going to sleep at 02:00 and waking at 05:20, all trembling like a leaf. With a seriously worrying depression. That, from World Trade Centre depression, if you understood what I mean. Moments before complete wakeup, to going to do my coffee, I find (how can be more weird my state of health!) the images of faces from Commons Treasury Committee at the one side of barricade, and Crosby & James Murdoch Co at another side of barricade – smiling to me from room flooded to the neck in water… Logically to think that the my incursions like a Lancasters’ tiff to the City, now in periods that are reduced to the completely vital and necessary, make for this beasts The Feast of Violence more frequent and cross. DON’T FORGET: I BARK BACK! (see that day note of how “Your clown” passa Port…) To conclude this logic, I stop at the night from 11th to 12th February. Night where I was molested like today. Very arrogant dreams. Mean very dodgy people who design them. Previous to this night, was my note called “Bragança international dream” with photo from a many years a fuder (f****) my mind Bonecos de Bola (Toys from the Football) how one determined race are calling this. Which one race, which price of this race and which orientation of this race I mentioned uncounted times before. Three, very distinct, clear but short dreams. 1). One was Hotel. Which hotel, cheap or expensive I’ll never know. But Royalties and Concessions from Ibis Group, Novotel Group, etc., was clearly understandable. That famous almohads penetration: the invite a pig at the table – he gone to put the legs on the table. Mean Iberian Finances approach. You see the Germany and Poland behaviour on the streets of London? I talk about this Brussels and Strasburg ongoing… approach. 2). Dream where I am at the very noisy wedding. The face of shitty pirate Barroso are singing and playing accordion. And I know that this is robbery of this bastard which are singing and playing. But can do nothing and just watching how the wedding is important only to don’t pay me for Portland 450 what I make for the EXPO and Exposition in Seville. Should say that the picture for pederast Bragança, are the that absolute majority for a many years ago expansion. Which, for good or bad I never experienced. Mean, I never was invited for any wedding whatsoever. And for sharks from City – is the same like to be without legs. Or arms, or something what every body get. To be honest, I don’t find another reason why and what make me keep be in this position. Of course lately, after this night receiving more hitting and without to say who, (you know the Firm-Evraz tree) I’ll tell you who was shouting at the back of my ear: You have a flower!” (BBC 1 loud yelling about HBOS and Barclays situation, implicating the “theirs” interpretation of Lady D funeral.) And today’s: “One of yours steals! Rob!” In respect of, like I call it: “Small country – big adventure”, which excellently tailored to the futures of Governmental Bonds suggestion, which is stated by “everybody-knows-who” offering the correct car for me. To finish, can only say that that worrying UK Business Loan Scheme, even distributed by the everyman in this “Sleepy Hollow” give no more than £4.25.

Minus than that famous “Favour”.

UK business loan scheme ‘not working’

February 16 2009 00:19 Only about £12m has been lent to companies under the government’s £1bn loan guarantee scheme for small business, a month after it was launched, according to analysis by the Financial Times.  Leading business organisations on Sunday attacked the “trickle” of funding from the banks, warning that government attempts to kick-start corporate lending simply were not working.

Employers’ groups also criticised the lack of apparent progress on government initiatives to provide multibillion- pound packages to help car manufacturers’ finance arms and guarantee the credit insurance that underpins supply chains. Concerns about the withdrawal of credit insurance, which covers suppliers against the risks of purchasers not paying their bills, are so serious that the Bank of England has intervened. Andrew Bailey, the Bank’s chief cashier, has called meetings to try to convince companies and credit insurers to keep working together. Gordon Brown, prime minister, sought to defend the government’s record on helping business by last week repeatedly citing the £1bn loan guarantee scheme as evidence of “what we [the government] have done for business”. He told MPs that “60,000 businesses have already benefited” from state initiatives to help cope with the credit crunch and recession. Yet that 60,000 figure appears due entirely to a scheme to help businesses defer tax. Phil Orford, chief executive of the Forum of Private Business, characterised this support as “nowhere near enough ... Government measures to underwrite bank lending to small businesses are not being delivered.” The department for business on Sunday refused to state how many companies had been helped under the £1bn loan guarantee scheme or how much funding had been committed.

But Barclays told the FT it had sanctioned “at least £12m” under the scheme and the first loans had been drawn on. Royal Bank of Scotland said it was “processing applications” but refused to say if it had made any loans. “There’s only a trickle of lending,” said Stephen Alambritis of the Federation of Small Businesses. “The concept of banks being helped to help the economy is not working.” John Cridland, deputy director-general at the CBI, warned: “Business has not seen anything get better.”

Mervyn Davies, trade minister, will on Tuesday meet Mervyn King, the Bank’s governor, to try to ease credit to car companies’ finance arms. The Bank is also working on regulations to govern the way credit insurance is applied and withdrawn, as well how much information companies must give to their suppliers’ insurers. Companies called in by the Bank for talks on credit insurance include Premier Foods and DSG, leaders in the food and electrical goods sectors respectively. Their presence reflects how credit insurance problems have begun to hit even Britain’s biggest companies.

Nuclear sub 'in Atlantic collision' Monday, February 16 07:20 am A Royal Navy nuclear submarine has collided with a French vessel in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, according to reports.

The crash between HMS Vanguard and French submarine Le Triomphant, which was also carrying nuclear warheads, is believed to have occurred on February 3 or 4. Despite being equipped with sonar to detect other vessels, neither submarine apparently realised the other was in the same part of the ocean. A senior Navy source told a newspaper the potential consequences of such a collision were "unthinkable". He said: "It's very unlikely there would have been a nuclear explosion. But a radioactive leak was a possibility. Worse, we could have the crew and warheads. That would have been a national disaster." The Ministry of Defence (MoD) refused to confirm the incident had taken place, saying it was against its policy to comment on submarine operations. However, a spokesman insisted nuclear security had not been breached. He said: "We can confirm that the UK's deterrent capability has remained unaffected at all times and there has been no compromise to nuclear safety."

Inquiries are under way on both sides of the Channel.

Busy Czech railway blocked as freight trains collide (Mini, Germs and videotape…)

updated: 13.09.2008 13:32:00Po srážce vlaků u Moravičan stála doprava 16,5 hodiny

Moravicany - An engine driver died and one of the Czech Republic's busiest railway tracks, connecting Prague and Olomouc, has been blocked since the small hours today when two freight trains collided in the Moravicany area, Railway Inspection head Jan Kucera said. Passenger and express trains along the track that crosses the country in the Prague-Olomouc-Ostrava west-east direction have been delayed by tens of minutes. Most trains' passengers are offered to use buses to cover the impassable section. Some trains have been rerouted. The trains collided at 02:16, one crashing into the other from behind. "For the time being we don't know whether the latter train was going or standing. It is too early to tell the cause of the accident. Human factor seems to be at fault, but a technical defect cannot be ruled out either," said Kucera. Both trains were going in the direction towards Olomouc. The dead driver was 46 years old. The spokeswoman for the CD Cargo company, in charge of freight transport, said the engine of a post express train crashed into a train transporting coal, and derailed, as did the latter train's last three carriages.

The damage is 5 million crowns, according very preliminary estimates, the spokeswoman said. The track might be reportedly unblocked at around 15:00 today. (USD1=17.363 crowns)

BMW to cut 850 Mini jobs 8 hours 53 mins ago  BMW has confirmed that 850 workers will be laid off at its Mini car plant in the latest blow to the UK motor industry. Agency workers on the weekend shift are expected to bear the brunt of cuts at the company's factory at Cowley, near Oxford, which employs 4,500 staff. The German-owned Group said staff who currently worked weekend shifts will be redeployed to one of the weekday shifts. A statement said: "While Mini has been weathering the economic downturn, it is not immune from the challenges of the current situation. "Against this backdrop the company felt that a review of its shift patterns was necessary. This decision has not been taken lightly. The plant's union representatives have, of course, been involved in the discussions." The cuts will come into force from March 2 when the plant begins operating five days a week, instead of the current seven.

Talks between the BMW-owned firm and unions had been held over changing the current work pattern of three shifts a day for seven days a week. The factory has started a week-long halt to car production in response to the dip in motor sales caused by the recession. The Mini celebrates its 50th anniversary in August of this year. The car industry has been hit hard by the recession, with thousands of workers laid off in recent weeks.
