2). TORONTO, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Barrick Gold Corp (ABX.TO) reported a fourth-quarter loss on Friday as it took a non-cash charge of $773 million, mostly related to goodwill writedowns at four assets.
The world's top gold miner lost $468 million, or 53 cents a share, compared with a profit of $537 million, or 61 cents a share, a year earlier. It also said it expects to produce between 7.2 and 7.6 million ounces this year, down from 2008 output due to lower production from some of the company's North American mines.
