‘Acquisition’ – recognition.

‘Acquisition’ – recognition. Browsing, or passing through media, teaches me a small lecture. The some articles have a face. I don’t stand for the title, name or whose site it is come from. I mean directly, the face of the article. For example, The True Story of Desert Explorer Laszlo Almasy in Spiegel this Pascua. Not because the medvedev or put-in are pederasts. But, because the proper piece of writing (unfinished) have a features, have that some kind of façade… Sometimes, the only way to go forward (not only in case of ‘English Patient’), involves going backwards first. This is why I find for myself a little surprise in the today’s http://uk.reuters.com/ site. How interestingly and almost entirely, in twelve strokes they achieve/attain to describe my expertise, my previous experience, well, at the end, - what I talk about. To idiotically recounting the biblical story about who’s the first, - the hen or egg. Which should be noted here, (because it going to be important for several reasons) was the key situation in my life this Friday. Was complete World War Third between the expectation of others and my individuality? Between my reputation and how “others” people may view my plans? Which plans? May I ask. Plans to spend £1.1 million to change the name of English Channel (i.e. Pa de Cale) into the ‘Le pond’? Doing good sell and than compare the UK’s economy to the health of Mr. Brown son? O honey, this people are of big power, trust me, - and gossip needs at all costs to be avoided today. Even if I need from last ‘acquisition’ yours recognition.

Learn how top managers earn. 05/04/10 00:05. On average, CEO receives national 63 thousand euros per month. Coelho is the highest paid in the profits generated. The chief executive officers (CEOs) of listed national received, on average, 884 thousand euros last year, in fixed and variable, according to the data already made public by twelve companies in the PSI 20. Mota-Engil, Zon and Galp are listed as best pay their CEO, for the profits generated. The sum in question - which in some cases we must add multi premiums - equivalent to a gross monthly salary of 63 thousand euros. However, the real value may be higher, since part of the quoted still does not reveal the salaries of subsidiary companies - which has generated controversy among enterprises. On this issue, Brisa, PT, EDP and Sonae are exceptions, because they reveal all the income of managers by meeting the CMVM recommendation accordingly. In absolute terms, Galp, PT and EDP lead the 'ranking' of CEO salaries. However, this comparison conceals several relevant factors, such as the profits generated by companies, their dimensions and the markets where they compete. "The indicator most often used for a good comparison is the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization [EBITDA], but the net result can also be used," said the Economic Daily Pedro Rocha e Silva, the consultant Heidrick & Struggles.
Based on data that are public, it is concluded that Coelho is the highest paid manager in the profits. Per million euros of profit generated, the CEO of Mota Engil receive 22,900 euros, compared to 20,000 for Rodrigo Costa (Zon) and 13,400 of Ferreira de Oliveira (Galp Energia). In the list of the five highest paid according to the profit figure also the CEO of Sonae SGPS, Paulo Azevedo, who received 10,100 euros for every million profit, as well as the former president of REN, Jose Rocks - who has now suspended due to alleged roles involvement in the case Hidden Face - with 4800 euros. In turn, the managers who received less according to the profit were the president of EDP, Antonio Mexia (which received 1.3 million euros, or 0.11% of the profit of 2008), the CEO of Portucel, Jose Honorio ( 0.18%) and PT, Zeinal Bava (0.26%).
There are, however, be borne in mind that in 2009, Sonae, PT, Zon and premiums paid multi EDP (see box at right), relating to prior years which were not taken into account in these calculations. These mechanisms for medium term are increasingly used by companies to encourage good management and "as a way of retaining staff and focus on their objectives," said Pedro Rocha e Silva.
Awards under fire: In the aftermath of the crisis in subprime, salaries and privileges of top executives have become the preferred target of several governments and some public opinion, as shown, moreover, the 'siege' that has been done to privileges of managers of public companies, with measures such as freezing bonus. These circumstances have led to unease in the major national companies, but the variable remuneration in the form of annual awards, continues to be increasingly used. In 2009, the twelve companies analyzed, the variable component accounted for 44% of the total. "Our managers have to compete with large global companies. We can not feed petty feelings, because any day they pack up and go away," said an Economic Daily quoted a great manager. The percentage of the profits that the CEO receive in the form of wages Jorge Coelho, Chairman and Chief Executive Mota-Engil. Among the twelve companies of 20 PSI already released the salaries of managers, the president of the Mota-Engil emerges as the highest paid on the profits of 2008 (2.29%, or 702 thousand euros), with a variable component of 202 thousand euros. For every million profit, Cole receives 22,900 euros. To his credit, is the fact that the stock price has increased 67.57% and profits have risen 134%. Rodrigo Costa, Chairman and Chief Executive Zon Multimedia The CEO of Zon Multimedia, owner of cable TV group, ranks second in the 'ranking', with a salary of 995 thousand euros (being the variable component of 300 thousand), or 2% of the profits of 2008 (47.9 million euros). Profits fell 8.14% between 2008 and 2009, driven by the crisis of falling domestic consumption, but significant shareholders of the operator will bring the manager into a new mandate. Ferreira de Oliveira, president and chief executive of Galp Energia. Ferreira de Oliveira has been the manager responsible for the transformation of a company Galp turned increasingly to the areas of export and production. The CEO was the third highest paid in terms of profits (1.34%), but the best in absolute terms (1.5 million euros, with 1.3 million in salary). The recovery of 68.25% shares in 2009, militates in his favor. Paulo Azevedo, chairman and chief executive of Sonae SGPS. The leader of the Sonae group ranks fourth in the 'ranking' of the highest paid in the net results (1.01%), with 808 thousand euros (479 thousand in salary and 328 thousand in variable). The rise of 17.5% of the profits of 'holding' last year to 94 million euros, speaks in favor of Paul Anderson as well as the recovery of 99.08% shares. Joseph Rocks, Former Chief Executive REN. The former president of the National Energy Networks, Jose Rocks was the fifth highest-paid CEO in 2009, the profits from the previous year. The manager, who suspended his duties following his alleged involvement in the missing face, received a total of 621 thousand euros, 377 thousand in fixed salaries and 244 thousand in premiums.
