Um despiste ocorrido hoje entre Coina e o Barreiro, junto à localidade de Penalva, cerca das 2h30, causou quatro mortos e um ferido grave. Ao local do acidente, registado no IC32, acorreram três ambulâncias do Barreiro e duas viaturas do Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica (INEM), segundo uma fonte do Comando-Geral da GNR, citada pela 'Lusa'. Fonte do INEM revelou que o acidente foi causado pelo despiste de um veículo ligeiro, no sentido Coina-Moita, após a saída do Barreiro. Das cinco vítimas, com idades entre os 16 e os 20 anos, quatro morreram no local do acidente: duas raparigas, um rapaz e outra pessoa cujo sexo que não foi possível identificar. O INEM informou ainda que o único sobrevivente é um homem que sofreu traumatismos no crânio e na face e foi transportado para o Hospital Garcia D'Orta, em Almada.
