Brit bikers die in horror crash. THREE British bikers were killed last night and another left fighting for life after a horror crash during a touring holiday in Italy. The two men and two women collided head-on with a lorry as they came out of a tunnel. They are feared to have been riding on the wrong side of the road. Colin Morrish, 63, and Wendy Pointer, 60, died in the smash. Michael Vercoe, 66, was also killed. Faye Vercoe was airlifted to hospital in a helicopter. Doctors said she was in critical condition. The tragedy happened at Mezzolombardo, Trento, around 300 yards from a tunnel exit. The four were members of the Motorcycle Touring Club of Europe and were taking part in the end of season meeting in northern Italy, having arrived last week.
