Também uma fonte diplomática espanhola garantiu hoje que Bongo "não está morto". Entretanto, o chefe do executivo do Gabão indicou que o seu Governo vai protestar oficialmente junto da França contra as "derivas repetidas da imprensa francesa" sobre o estado de saúde do Presidente Omar Bongo Ondimba. The ministry said in a statement that the drugs came on board of a ship from Brazil to the port in Lisbon and were hidden in containers with decorative stones intended for a Portuguese company. “This is the largest volume of drugs ever seized in the port of Lisbon,” the statement said. A 43-year-old Portuguese citizen has been detained in connection with the confiscated drugs. He is suspected of involvement in an international criminal organization, which used Portugal as a gateway for smuggling drugs to Europe.

Qimonda: Consórcio vai investir €150 milhões na unidade solar O investimento na Qimonda Solar vai permitir, numa primeira fase, a criação de 400 postos de trabalho directos. 18:02 Sexta-feira, 5 de Jun de 2009 Um grupo de investidores, liderado pelo InovCapital, comprou hoje a Qimonda Solar, num investimento que ascende a 150 milhões de euros e permitirá, numa primeira fase, criar 400 postos de trabalho directos. Os contratos de compra da Qimonda Solar e os respectivos contratos de financiamento foram assinados hoje, ao final da tarde, no ministério da Economia, pela sociedade estatal de capital de risco InovCapital, DST, Visabeira, BES, BCP, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Banco Privado Atlântico e o grupo alemão Centrosolar. O investimento efectuado é de 150 milhões de euros e numa primeira fase permitirá criar 400 postos de trabalho directos e 600 numa segunda fase. O ministro da Economia, Manuel Pinho, que presidiu à cerimónia, afirmou que a compra da posição maioritária que a Qimonda detinha na fábrica de células fotovoltaicas de Vila do Conde foi conseguido depois de "negociações muito difíceis". O grupo de investidores vai agora desenvolver o projecto em conjunto com a empresa alemã Centrosolar. De acordo com o ministro, em Vila do Conde vai ser desenvolvido um "projecto integrado de construção de células e painéis solares que incorporam uma das tecnologias mais avançadas do mundo". Manuel Pinho destacou que o acordo hoje assinado resulta de uma iniciativa do Governo a três níveis: o lançamento de um desafio a um grupo de investidores portugueses e estrangeiros que estão a fazer uma forte aposta nas energias renováveis; o investimento no projecto através da InovCapital e a ligação com o gestor de falência da Qimonda na Alemanha. Para além disso, o Governo negociou os incentivos, que são semelhantes aos do projecto original, e acompanhou as negociações através da AICEP, acrescentou. Este investimento, segundo o ministro, vai contribuir para o desenvolvimento de um importante "cluster" no país.
